Who Can Apply?
Applicants must be Pakistani or AJ&K nationals and permanent residents. For a Master’s scholarship, applicants need a first division in a 16-year Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field. For PhD, applicants need a first division in a 17/18-year Master’s, MS or MPhil qualification in the relevant field. Result-awaiting candidates may also apply if they can provide their final degree and transcript before the academic session begins.

HEC has announced 26 nominations for Master’s and 30 nominations for general PhD under this cycle.
How Students Should Apply
Candidates must complete applications on both the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission system and the HEC scholarship portal before the deadline. Submitting only one of the two applications will not be sufficient for HEC consideration.
